I’m the creator behind Hustle at Home Mom, where I share my passion for treasure hunting, yard sales, thrift stores, storage unit auctions, and selling on eBay.
What started as a way to earn extra income while raising my family of three boys has grown into a business—and a community of hundreds of thousands of people who love the excitement of finding hidden value in everyday places.

My Story
Years ago, I discovered something that completely changed the way I looked at secondhand shopping.
Most people walked past ordinary-looking items without giving them a second thought.
I became fascinated by learning which items had value, why collectors wanted them, and how a little knowledge could turn a few dollars into something much more.
That curiosity eventually turned into a thriving reselling business, allowing me to work from home while raising my three boys.
Over the years, I’ve spent thousands of hours researching brands, identifying collectibles, photographing items, writing listings, shipping orders, and learning what buyers are really looking for.
Every treasure hunt teaches me something new—and I love sharing those lessons with others.

Why I Love Treasure Hunting
People often ask me why I still enjoy yard sales after all these years.

Sometimes it’s a rare collectible.
Sometimes it’s a beautiful piece of history.
Sometimes it’s simply the joy of learning something new.
I love that every item has a story—and that many of those stories get a second chance when they’re passed on to someone who truly appreciates them.
My Philosophy
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success doesn’t come from luck.
It comes from curiosity.
The more you learn about brands, craftsmanship, history, and collectibles, the more opportunities you begin to notice.

That’s why I believe anyone can become a successful reseller with patience and a willingness to keep learning.
Beyond Reselling
In recent years, I’ve become increasingly interested in using technology and AI to simplify the business side of reselling.
I’ve developed tools and workflows that dramatically reduce the time it takes to create listings, organize inventory, and manage the repetitive tasks that can otherwise consume a reseller’s day.
My goal isn’t to replace the fun of treasure hunting—it’s to spend more time doing what I love and less time on repetitive work.
As these tools evolve, I’ll continue sharing what I learn so others can benefit too.
